Cylex Park & Recreation Signs

Parks and recreation facilities deserve signage that reflects the natural beauty of their surroundings — not generic metal posts and painted boards. Cylex Signs specializes in custom park signage that looks like it belongs in the landscape, made from materials that authentically replicate natural stone and wood while outlasting conventional signage by decades. From entry monuments to trail markers, rules signs to interpretive displays, Cylex delivers signage programs trusted by parks departments, municipalities, and recreation facilities nationwide.

• Proprietary Synthetic Materials

Our proprietary synthetic line includes Cylex Granite, Cylex Sandstone, and Cylex Wood — materials engineered to authentically replicate the look and texture of natural stone and wood. Lightweight yet incredibly durable, these materials are ideal for park environments where a natural aesthetic is essential. Our Cast Stone is rated to 14,000 PSI — one of the most durable sign materials available for outdoor use.

• Real Natural Stone Options

For parks that want genuine natural stone signage, Cylex can source and fabricate from granite, marble, limestone, and other natural stone materials. Want to use a stone native to your region? Ship it to us — we regularly work with customer-supplied stone, creating signage that authentically reflects the local geology and landscape of your park.

• Metal Signs

For parks and facilities that prefer a more contemporary look, Cylex also offers metal signage with custom graphics, text, and logos — durable, weather-resistant, and fully customizable to match your facility’s brand standards.

• What materials are available for Cylex park signs?

Cylex offers park signs in Cylex Granite, Cylex Sandstone, and Cylex Wood (proprietary synthetic materials), Cast Stone (14,000 PSI engineered concrete), natural stone including granite, marble, and limestone sourced by us or supplied by you, and Metal.

• Can park signs be customized with our park logo and branding?

Absolutely. Every Cylex park sign is fully custom. Park name, logo, agency seal, rules text, and decorative graphics are all configurable. All text and graphics are sandblasted and/or engraved directly into the surface for a permanent, dimensional finish that won’t peel or fade.

• Do you work with municipalities and government agencies?

Yes. Cylex has extensive experience working with municipal parks departments, county agencies, and recreation authorities. Lee County Parks in Florida and Arlington County in Virginia are among the many government clients who have trusted Cylex Signs for their park signage programs.

• Can I use a locally sourced stone for my park signs?

Yes. Simply ship your preferred stone to our facility in Huntsville, TX and we will fabricate your park signs from it — creating signage that authentically reflects the natural character of your specific park or region.

• How long do Cylex park signs last outdoors?

Our synthetic and cast stone materials are UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and require virtually zero maintenance. For painted signs, we use high-grade UV-protective coatings that provide years of vibrant color. When paint eventually fades due to climate or sun exposure, signs can be repainted on-site or shipped back to our Huntsville, TX facility to be fully refreshed — at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

• Do you make trail signs and trailhead signs?

Yes. Cylex makes custom trail markers, trailhead signs, and trail system wayfinding in synthetic stone, cast stone, natural stone, and metal. Our trail signs are a popular choice because of their natural appearance, durability, and resistance to vandalism.

• Do you ship park signs worldwide?

Yes. Cylex ships custom park and recreation signs worldwide to municipalities, parks departments, recreation facilities, and communities across the United States and internationally.
